Summary

YuYu Hakusho Dai‑Ni‑Dan: Ankoku Bujutsu Kai‑hen marks the series’ sophomore outing on the original Game Boy, picking up where the first cartridge left off. As the second handheld entry, it feels like a natural extension, offering familiar controls while nudging the combat system into a slightly darker tone. The title’s subtitle hints at a focus on secret martial techniques, and the handheld format forces the designers to distill the action into bite‑sized challenges that still capture the spirit of the anime. For anyone who enjoyed the debut, this follow‑up feels like a modest but satisfying next step in the portable YuYu Hakusho experience.
