Summary

Wizards & Warriors X: Fortress of Fear drops you into the shoes of Kuros, a lone knight storming the dreaded Fortress in pursuit of the Evil Wizard Malkil. The game’s 18 tightly‑packed levels feel like a gauntlet, each one packed with a relentless stream of foes. Bats and other winged beasts swoop down from the shadows, while fireballs and arrows zip across the screen, forcing you to time every jump and slash. Below, skin‑crawling spiders and clattering skeletons emerge from darkness, turning every corridor into a surprise‑attack zone. Defeating these hordes isn’t just about survival; each victory nets you glittering riches, hidden keys, and a stash of spells and potions that make the climb feel rewarding. The ultimate payoff is a showdown with Malkil himself, a battle that promises to test everything you’ve learned, especially since no one who’s entered the Fortress has ever walked out alive.
