Summary

Wayne's World on the Game Boy turns the movie’s goofy vibe into a fast‑paced platformer. You control both Wayne and Garth, swapping between them whenever you need a karate kick or a 4,000‑volt laser blast. Wayne’s moves come from his girlfriend Cassandra’s training, while Garth’s gun can be powered up to unleash 100‑gigawatt bursts after you collect the P‑power‑ups. The game tracks your “worthiness” as health; donuts and power‑ups refill it, and each level ends with a donut‑filled bonus screen that can grant an extra life if you clear them all. A quirky “cool major‑high flip jump” (A + up) adds a vertical flair, and a strict time limit keeps the action tight. Starting with four lives, you’ll dash through biker gangs, bake pizza, and face off against a host of enemies, all while the soundtrack peppers in familiar movie samples.

Storyline

Wayne's World on Game Boy follows Wayne and Garth as they scramble to keep a rich producer from buying their public‑access TV show. The adventure kicks off at Kramer's Music Store, where Wayne battles sentient guitars, drums, cymbals, saxophones, trumpets and even stacks of Barry Manilow records to claim the Excallbur.

In the second stage the duo heads to the Gasworks, fighting bouncers, martial artists and tough guys to reach Cassandra, who is performing with her band. After the concert, Garth takes on ninjas and black cats in a gritty alley while Wayne confronts security guards, floating TV screens, black spiders and tangled power cords inside Ben’s studio, searching for the missing show contract.

The quest culminates at Ben’s condo, where Wayne not only continues the hunt for the contract but also tries to rescue Cassandra from the producer’s clutches.
