Summary
I’m always digging into the quirks of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan on the original Game Boy. The game lets you swing the blades of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael through five Manhattan‑style stages, each topped by a classic boss—Rocksteady, Bebop, Baxter Stockman, Shredper and Krang. If a Turtle loses all his health, he’s captured and you must pick another brother to continue; losing all four ends the run. Pizza slices refill health, and scattered hidden mini‑games surprise you with extra lives. You can start on any stage, but to see the real finale you have to finish from Stage 1. The title sold almost 900,000 copies in Japan and netted $27 million, later earning a 15th‑place spot on Nintendo Power’s top Game Boy list and a re‑appearance in the 2022 Cowabunga Collection.
Storyline
In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of the Foot Clan (often just called TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan), the Shredder and Krang kidnap April O'Neil again. Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello launch a rescue mission that takes them from the grimy New York sewers up onto the bustling city streets. Their pursuit continues along the river before culminating inside the dreaded Technodrome. Along the way the turtles battle Krang’s minions and the Foot Clan’s henchmen, using classic platform‑style action to clear each area. The goal is simple: save April and thwart the villains’ plans before they can unleash chaos on the city.
