Summary

Spanky's Quest (known in Japan as Lucky Monkey) is a quirky puzzle‑platformer that makes the most of the Game Boy’s limited screen. You guide the cheeky monkey Spanky while he tosses a small purple bubble that can be bounced on his head; each bounce enlarges the bubble and shifts its hue, eventually bursting into a sports ball that clears anything in its path. The game’s five worlds each contain ten rooms filled with fruit‑shaped foes, and every cleared room unlocks hidden traps or bonus chambers that reward extra points. A password system lets you pick up the adventure later, and the colorful graphics and playful sound effects keep the experience light enough for younger players yet challenging for veterans. Overall, the title blends simple controls with a surprising amount of variety, making it a memorable handheld oddity.
