Summary

SD Command Gundam G-ARMS (often shortened to G‑ARMS) is a fast‑paced action shooter that lets you pilot the chibi‑styled Gundam units straight from the early SD Command Chronicles. Bandai built the game around the kinetic battle scenes of the Gachapon Warrior series, turning the colorful, toy‑like mecha into a handheld arcade‑style romp. Even though it only saw a Japanese launch on May 18, 1991, the title’s quirky blend of cute graphics and frantic shooting still feels fresh to anyone who enjoys a retro challenge. If you’ve ever wondered how the first SD Command experiment translated to the Game Boy’s tiny screen, G‑ARMS is the perfect glimpse into that experimental era.
