Play Road Rash Online

Summary

Road Rash on the Game Boy carries the high‑octane feel of its Sega Genesis ancestor into a handheld format. While the original debuted on the Genesis in 1991, this portable edition is one of only two licensed titles that refuse to run on the Game Boy Color or later models, making it a quirky relic for collectors. The game sticks to the series’ core formula: racers tear down two‑lane California highways, battling fourteen rivals in each heat. A two‑player mode lets friends take turns, preserving the competitive spirit despite the single‑screen hardware. Though a Super‑NES version was once slated, it never saw the light of day, leaving the Game Boy port as a unique slice of the Road Rash legacy.
