Summary

Ray‑Thunder is one of those elusive Game Boy titles that never made it beyond Japan’s borders, surfacing only in 1991. Its regional lock‑out has turned it into a collector’s curiosity, especially for anyone who digs through import bins or vintage cartridge piles. Even though the hardware is the same as the worldwide releases, the game’s packaging and manual are printed entirely in Japanese, adding an extra layer of mystery for non‑Japanese speakers. For retro enthusiasts, tracking down a working copy feels like a small treasure hunt, a reminder of how many hidden gems slipped through the global market in the early ’90s.
