Summary
Pri Pri : Primitive Princess! is a quirky action‑puzzle experience that drops you into the skin of a primitive caveman scaling a monster‑laden tower. Each floor is a deadly maze of hidden holes, traps and bizarre creatures that can be dispatched by slamming your hammer onto the tile above them, crushing anything beneath. The same hammer can conjure temporary floor tiles, letting you span gaps – but it’s a limited resource, so every strike counts. To progress, you must locate the glowing crystal on each level; its power summons a ladder that whisks you up to the next stage. The blend of careful resource management, slap‑stick combat and sudden platform puzzles gives the game a charming, “do‑it‑your‑self” vibe that feels right at home on a classic Game Boy screen.
Storyline
Once upon a time in the tiny Ruriruli Kingdom, Princess Puri Puri was adored by everyone. On her sixteenth birthday, King Cocoa III announced he would choose a husband for her. Unhappy with the tradition, Puri Puri declared, “I’ll marry the person who climbs the Tower of Nouveau in the eastern forest!” The Tower of Nouveau was a forbidden spire riddled with complex traps and monsters. Cocoa III scolded his daughter, but the rumor spread far and wide. Adventurer Totom, known for his past exploits, heard the story and said, “That sounds interesting.” Intrigued, he set off to brave the dangerous tower and claim the princess’s hand.
