Summary

Pitman (known as Catrap in its original form) is a quirky puzzle‑platformer that lets you control a tiny anthropomorphic cat on the original Game Boy. Each room is a compact maze of blocks, ladders and ghosts; your goal is to kick every enemy off the screen, then the game hands you the next challenge.

The core loop is pure trial‑and‑error: you push obstacles, watch the cat’s path, and if you get stuck you can press the A‑button to rewind your moves and try a different approach. With 100 increasingly intricate levels, the puzzles grow from a single monster on an empty floor to dense barricades of boulders and ladder puzzles that leave almost no margin for mistake. The title even sneaks a tribute to its Sharp MZ‑700 roots—round 77’s layout spells out a big “M Z.” For the creative crowd, Pitman also includes a simple maze‑builder, inviting you to design your own brain‑teasers.
