Summary

Momotarou Dengeki 2, also known as Momotaro Thunderbolt 2, is a compact burst of action that landed on the Game Boy in the mid‑90s. Hudson’s Japanese release in 1994 packs the series’ signature blend of mythic heroics and fast‑paced combat into a handheld format that feels both nostalgic and surprisingly tight.

Even without a sprawling storyline, the game’s quirky power‑ups and sprite‑rich stages make it a hidden gem for anyone hunting retro challenges. It’s a perfect reminder of how much personality could be squeezed into a single cartridge.
