Summary

Momotaro Dentetsu Jr.: Zenkoku Ramen Meguri no Maki is a quirky side‑step in the long‑running Momotaro Dentetsu board‑game series. Instead of the usual railway‑building competition, this Game Boy title invites players to wander Japan’s ramen hotspots, turning the familiar dice‑roll mechanics into a culinary road trip. Developed by the little‑known studio Make and released by Hudson Soft in 1998, the game never left Japan, making it a rare collector’s item for fans of retro handhelds. Its monochrome graphics and simple sound chip capture the charm of late‑90s portable gaming, while the menu‑driven interface lets you plot routes, buy upgrades, and challenge friends in a light‑hearted race for the best bowl. For anyone who loves obscure Japanese board‑game adaptations, it’s a tasty glimpse into a niche corner of gaming history.
