Summary

Momotaro Densetsu Gaiden, sometimes called "Peach Boy Legend Side‑Story," started life on the Game Boy in 1991 before hopping onto the PC Engine and later the Famicom. Unlike the main Momotaro titles, this entry drops the hero himself and lets you step into the shoes of three very different side characters. One campaign follows a classic hero’s journey, another puts you in the role of a demon‑king’s princess trying to thwart a coup with a rag‑tag band of monsters, and the third lets you play a mischievous thief who robs monsters and hands the loot to beggars. Despite the varied narratives, each route sticks to the series’ familiar formula of wandering an overworld map and battling turn‑based encounters. The result is a quirky, character‑driven RPG that feels both fresh and comfortably nostalgic for fans of Hudson’s Peach Boy universe.
