Summary

Magnetic Soccer on the Game Boy turns the tabletop classic into a quirky digital duel. Each side fields eight figures—one keeper, two attackers/defenders and three midfielders—yet you control them by sliding whole rows left or right, never up or down, so the whole line moves in unison. The game rewards precise timing: a well‑aimed strike can not only blast the ball but also knock an opponent’s piece out of play, while defensive stops and power shots feel surprisingly satisfying. If the match ends level, it jumps straight into a tense penalty shootout. Beyond the core match, three distinct playing surfaces keep the feel fresh, a solo practice mode lets you hone your timing without a rival, and a spectator mode lets you watch two AI‑controlled teams battle it out.
