Summary

Heracles no Eikou: Ugokidashita Kamam

i, the little‑known Game Boy entry in the Glory of Heracles series, picks up right after the original adventure. The game keeps the same three‑option combat loop – attack, guard and item use – but adds a twist: you can call a chosen Olympian deity into battle. Gods never level up, yet they boast high stats and potent magic, and as you progress you’ll earn the chance to swap for a new divine ally, though only one can accompany Heracles at a time. While it never left Japan, a community‑driven English patch released in 2012 under the title "The Glory of Heracles: Snap Story" lets non‑Japanese speakers finally experience its quirky blend of myth and handheld RPG simplicity.

Storyline

Heracles no Eikou: Ugokidashita Kamigami (often just called Heracles no Eikou) continues the saga immediately after the first game. Zeus appears and summons Heracles, warning that the Bloodlord and his dark minions are attempting to bring the titan Cronus back to life. The hero must travel across mythic realms, confronting the Bloodlord’s forces and sealing the cracks that could allow Cronus’s resurrection. Each battle pushes the story forward, revealing the Bloodlord’s true motive to rewrite the divine order. In the end, Heracles strives to stop the ancient evil and preserve the balance of the gods.
