Summary

Garfield Labyrinth is the European incarnation of a Crazy Castle installment originally built as a Mickey Mouse title and even sold as The Real Ghostbusters in North America. Though Kemco handled the development and European publishing, the game itself is a thinly‑veiled copy of the obscure P · P · Hammer, down to its pneumatic‑hammer mechanic and nearly identical level layouts – a fact that the original designer has called outright unauthorized. Players guide the famous orange tabby through maze‑like rooms, solving puzzles while dodging ghosts, flames and blocks that can reform and sap health. Collecting stars opens the path to the next area, but the ticking 999‑second timer means every second counts. Finishing a stage awards a twelve‑digit password, letting you jump straight to that point on your next run.

Storyline

In the Game Boy title Garfield Labyrinth, the adventure begins with the two main characters—different depending on the regional version—trying to cross a rickety bridge.
When the lead character slips and falls into the gap, he shouts for the companion to pull him up, setting the tone for the puzzle‑filled maze ahead.
