Summary

In Fish Dude you steer the titular fish through a bright, scrolling ocean, gobbling up tiny fish until you bulk up enough to take on the bigger threats. As you grow, larger fish, swooping seagulls and even prowling cats appear, forcing you to dodge or fight back, while friendly characters like Octo Dude the octopus pop in to lend a tentacle when things get hectic. You only have three lives, so each mistake feels costly and mastering the controls becomes a test of both reflexes and strategy. The playfield wraps around at the edges, letting you re‑enter from the opposite side and keep the chase alive.

The game is split into 18 increasingly frantic levels, each concluding after you’ve swallowed twenty fish. New predators speed up as you progress, and from the third level onward you can enter passwords to resume your progress. The combination of growth mechanics, limited lives, and wrap‑around scrolling keeps the experience surprisingly deep for a handheld title.
