Play Final Reverse Online

Summary

Final Reverse is a surprisingly kinetic action title that landed on the original Game Boy. While the handheld was dominated by platformers and puzzles, this Shouei‑crafted game pushes the button‑mashing pace you’d expect from a console‑side arcade. What catches the eye is the involvement of Toei Animation as publisher – a studio better known for its TV series than for handheld cartridges, which gives the box a distinct anime‑flavored flair. Released in Japan in 1991, the game never saw an official Western launch, making original copies a collector’s curiosity. I’m always drawn to those hidden gems where a TV animation powerhouse dabbles in portable gaming, and Final Reverse is a perfect example of that crossover.
