Summary

Family Jockey 2: Meiba no Kettou, often just called Family Jockey 2, is a handheld sports title that lets you dive into the world of horse racing. Developed by the modest studio Use and backed by Namco, the game arrived in Japan in 1993, riding the wave of early ’90s portable gaming enthusiasm. Its pixel‑art tracks and simple controls capture the thrill of a race without overwhelming the tiny screen, making each gallop feel like a quick burst of competition. Though it never saw an official Western launch, the game has become a curious footnote for collectors who appreciate how Japanese developers experimented with niche sports on the Game Boy.
