Summary

Crayon Shin-chan - Ora no Gokigen Collection is an action title that landed on the Game Boy in Japan back in 1996, courtesy of Bandai. The game packs a handful of mini‑adventures starring the mischievous five‑year‑old, each one built around simple button‑mashing and timing challenges that feel right at home on a handheld. What catches my eye is the way the pixel art mimics the TV show’s cheeky style, while the chiptune soundtrack adds a nostalgic buzz that still makes me grin. Even though it never saw an official Western release, the cartridge has become a quirky collector’s item among retro fans who appreciate its blend of humor and classic Game Boy quirks. If you ever stumble upon a copy, it’s a fun glimpse into how Japanese licensed games were handled in the mid‑90s.
