Summary

Cosmo Tank lets you pilot an armored fighting vehicle that flips between an overhead view on a planet’s surface and a first‑person cockpit when you dive into a tunnel. After you blast the alien Life Core hidden in the tunnel, the game thrusts you into a vertically scrolling warp that drops you onto a new world, keeping the sense of constant movement fresh.

The title offers three distinct play styles. Quest mode is the core adventure: destroy Life Cores on five planets, rack up to 999 experience points, and climb a six‑level cap before confronting the Master Insect. Training mode drops you into a closed arena for skill drills and a personal ranking, while vs. mode hooks two Game Link cables together for a head‑to‑head race to the alien leader.

When the run ends—whether by victory or a game over—a rank appears, showing how far you got and your target score. The lowest possible rank is a skull and crossbones, a stark reminder that even the toughest tank can become a battlefield casualty.
