Summary

Chibi Maruko-chan 3 – Mezase! Game Taishou no Maki is a quirky action title that lands on the original Game Boy. The game captures the mischievous spirit of the beloved anime, letting you guide Maruko through a series of playful challenges that feel like a digital playground. I love how the simple sprite work still manages to convey her trademark expressions, and the chiptune soundtrack adds a nostalgic bounce to every level. Despite the hardware limits, the controls are surprisingly responsive, making each jump and dash feel satisfying. It’s a charming slice of retro handheld fun that any fan of the series—or of cute platformers—should give a try.
