Summary
Catrap turns a simple platform puzzle into a mind‑bending labyrinth where you’re both the architect and the explorer. As Catboy or Catgirl you drag massive blocks to create bridges or drop them onto pursuing monsters, reshaping each level on the fly. The built‑in rewind mechanic lets you snap back moments before a fatal mistake, turning frustration into rapid experimentation. Every maze feels like a fresh puzzle, and the retro‑style graphics keep the atmosphere oddly charming.
The game packs a full hundred mazes, each wrapped in a curse that forces you to escape before time runs out. Whether you prefer to map out complex routes or react instantly to a monster’s charge, the pacing stays tight and rewarding. I keep coming back because no two solutions ever feel exactly the same.
Storyline
Catrap (also known as Pitfall 2) drops two brave explorers into a mysterious underground labyrinth. Banished by an ancient curse, they must navigate a series of complex mazes. The goal is simple yet daunting: solve all 100 puzzles hidden within the twisting corridors. Each solved puzzle lifts a fragment of the curse, bringing them one step closer to freedom. Only by completing every challenge can the explorers reverse the spell and escape the depth.
