Summary

The Bugs Bunny Collection for Game Boy is a Japan‑only compilation that bundles the two original Crazy Castle titles under the Bugs Bunny banner. Essentially, Kemco took the Mickey Mouse I and II cartridges, swapped the mouse for Bugs, and added a few tweaks—most notably Super Game Boy border support. Both The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle and its sequel appear back‑to‑back, letting players hop straight from the first maze to the second without swapping cartridges. This little package arrived just before the worldwide launch of Bugs Bunny: Crazy Castle 3, making it a rare glimpse of how the series was repackaged for the Asian market. For anyone hunting retro oddities, it’s a neat example of sprite‑swapping and regional re‑releases in the early ’90s handheld scene.
