Summary

Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword carries the classic platform‑action vibe you’d expect, with plenty of ledge‑jumping and rope‑climbing that feel straight out of the series. What really makes this handheld entry stand out are the added set‑pieces: there are full‑blown boss battles that force you to learn quirky attack patterns, and demolition sections that let you blow up structures with satisfying explosions. The game even throws a submarine piloting sequence into the mix, switching the perspective from tight caves to underwater navigation. Those surprising twists keep the pacing fresh while still honoring the puzzle‑platform roots that made the original so addictive.

Storyline

In Tomb Raider: Curse of the Sword, Lara Croft is on a routine museum security job when a cursed blade grazes her, leaving a mysterious wound. The injury awakens a sinister plot by a New Orleans‑based cult that seeks to claim her soul for their dark rituals. Determined to survive, Lara travels across diverse locations, from haunted swamps to ancient ruins, battling the cult’s minions and solving puzzles along the way. Each level forces her to confront supernatural traps set by the fanatics, testing her agility and wits. Ultimately, she must break the sword’s curse and stop the cult before it consumes her forever.
