Summary

Test Drive Cycles lets you tear around tight, twisty circuits on a roster of real‑world bikes from Harley‑Davidson, BMW, Moto Guzzi and Bimota. The game’s “into‑the‑screen” view feels like a handheld Hang‑On, pulling you into each of the 12 locations that host two tracks apiece, complete with jumps, obstacles and rival racers.

Beyond the standard races, you can link two Game Boy Colors for a head‑to‑head showdown or dive into the Cop Chase mode, where you’re the rider trying to outrun the police. Winning races earns upgrade points, letting you tweak speed and handling, and two extra motorcycles are locked behind the chase mode.

Critics were split: some praised the upgrade system and police chase, while others slammed the audio, draw distance and sluggish controls, leaving the game with a mixed reception overall.
