Summary

Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing – known on the Game Boy Color as Redline Racer – packs a surprisingly deep motorcycle experience into a tiny cartridge. You can dive straight into a time‑trial mode, racing against four to seven AI opponents on a handful of courses; each victory unlocks faster bikes and new tracks, gradually expanding the roster from an initial two (or three, depending on the version) to eight machines and ten circuits. The championship mode strings together sixteen races, each three laps long, and forces you to start every sprint from the back of the pack, so mastering the wheelie‑boost – a brief surge of acceleration – becomes essential. The game even lets you pick your rider’s gender and team, and its “Ubi Key” infrared link lets friends trade data to reveal hidden content. All of this is wrapped in varied scenery, from canyon walls to tropical islands and orchard lanes, keeping each lap fresh.
