Summary

Sonic Adventure 8 is a curious bootleg that surfaced in 2000, put together by Makon Soft Studio. It isn’t a brand‑new game but a re‑imagined version of Makon’s own Sonic Adventure 7, which hit the same year. The opening sequence got a fresh coat of paint, swapping the original intro for a static shot of the iconic Sandopolis Zone. Most of the soundtrack was pulled back to the tracks familiar from the S3DB5 release, giving the game a nostalgic audio vibe. Even the visuals got a twist – the colour palettes were altered so that Sonic himself appears in a striking red hue, and the level order was shuffled, placing the Flying Battery stage at the very start where it originally sat later in the series.
