Play Papyrus Online

Summary

Papyrus on the Game Boy Color delivers a surprisingly deep action experience for a handheld of its era. Planet Interactive’s design leans into tight controls and crisp sprite work, while Ubisoft’s publishing push gave it a solid European launch in 2000. The game’s visual style feels like a nod to classic paper‑craft aesthetics, and its level pacing keeps the momentum high without feeling rushed. Even years later, the title stands out as a hidden gem among portable action titles, offering a quick yet satisfying burst of gameplay whenever you have a few minutes to spare.
