Summary
Mr. Nutz for the Game Boy Color is a bright side‑scroll platformer where you guide an anthropomorphic red squirrel through six themed worlds. The squirrel can run, jump, swim in watery sections and, aside from bashing enemies with his tail, fling collected nuts at troublemakers. Most foes fall with a single hit, while the usual contact drains a health unit and triggers a brief flashing invulnerability. Coins pepper each stage, serving both as score and as the key to the end‑level completion bonus—the more you collect, the larger the payoff. Hidden lives, extra health and extra nuts reward thorough exploration.
There’s no hard time limit, but speed runs earn extra points. When you lose all health you lose a life and restart the current journey; empty‑life failures drop you back to the start of the current stage with default stats, though you can continue.
Storyline
In the Game Boy Color adventure Mr. Nutz, the squirrel hero must thwart the icy ambitions of the villainous yeti, Mr. Blizzard. The yeti wields magical powers that can freeze the entire planet, turning everything into a mass of ice. Mr. Nutz travels across varied levels, confronting frozen foes and solving platform challenges to reach Blizzard’s lair. The ultimate goal is to stop Mr. Blizzard before his chilling takeover succeeds, restoring warmth and safety to the world.
