Summary

Majokko Mari-chan no Kisekae Monogatari feels like a whimsical fashion adventure tucked into a Game Boy Color cartridge. You wander through parks and boutiques, befriending locals whose tastes help you unlock a flood of adorable outfits, and the more pals you make, the more weekend parties you’re invited to. At home, a sketchbook lets you draft your own designs, then stash the finished pieces in Mari‑chan’s trunk to complete the collection. The game boasts over 190 garments, each part of a fully coordinated look that starts with a matching hairstyle and shoes right out of the gate. It’s a charming blend of social simulation and dress‑up that rewards creativity and friendship alike.

Storyline

Majokko Mari-chan no Kisekae Monogatari follows Witch Mari, a junior‑high student from a magical realm, as she embarks on a year‑long training mission on Earth. Accompanied by her caretaker cat, Mimi, Mari’s goal is to practice a skill called Sense UP while adapting to life among ordinary humans. On Earth she is unable to wield her full magical repertoire; the only spell she can perform is the ability to create clothing. Despite this limitation, she lives out the story as an 18‑year‑old, navigating both school life and her secret magical duties. The game blends everyday teenage experiences with the whimsical challenge of mastering a single, fashion‑focused magic.
