Summary
Looney Tunes: Twouble! (also released as Sylvester & Tweety: Breakfast on the Run) drops you into the cat‑and‑bird chase that defined the cartoons. You play as Sylvester, darting through side‑scrolling stages that demand quick jumps, ducks, and dodges, then switching to an isometric “pseudo‑3D” view where key items and clever combos open the path forward.
The game packs five distinct levels split into a 2‑D part and a 3‑D part, each sprinkled with familiar faces like Granny, Hector, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz, Pepé Le Pew and even Marvin the Martian. An inventory system lets you combine items to overcome obstacles, and three difficulty settings plus a password system let you pick up where you left off. Though the concept feels lively, contemporary reviewers were harsh – IGN scored it 5/10 and the Los Angeles Times dismissed it as lacking any redeeming quality.
