Summary

Lego Stunt Rally drops you onto the quirky Stunt Island, a sandbox of four themed worlds—city, desert, jungle and ice—each packed with loop‑the‑loops, ramps, fans and sneaky hazards like quicksand and spikes. Before every race you pick one of four characters—Chip, Lucky, Barney or Wrench—and tweak your car’s speed and traction, then race against the island’s boss or the mysterious Mr. X in a total of 21 levels. The game started life in 1998 as a free‑form concept called Lego Moto, but playtests showed kids loved the locked‑track feel of Scalextric, so the design was reined in and released as Lego Stunt Rally in 2000. While the PC version was handled by Intelligent Games, the handheld spin‑off for the Game Boy Color was built by Graphic State, preserving the same stunt‑filled spirit on a tiny screen. Poland got its own localized edition in April 2001, courtesy of IM Group, and the title even headlined a tournament to celebrate the opening of Kraków’s Empik megastore that summer, turning a simple racing game into a community event.
