Summary

Kakutou Ryouri Densetsu Bistro Recipe – Gekitou Foodon Battle Hen (often just called Bistro Recipe) lets you step into the shoes of Zen, a chef‑fighter who can summon a monster called a Foodon. The trick is simple yet quirky: combine a Recipe Card with the dish you’ve just cooked, and the Foodon materializes ready for battle.

Your first obstacle is Don Cook’s minion Pishocker, who blocks Zen’s path. The summoned Foodon becomes your only way past this foe, turning a cooking step into a tactical showdown.

The game’s world is a culinary tour, letting you collect, grow, and pit Foodons made from Japanese, Western, Chinese and a host of other ethnic dishes. The better you manage abundant ingredients, the stronger the resulting Foodon becomes, rewarding careful recipe planning.

Beyond the usual fights, there’s a quirky “communication battle” mode where you can spar using dialogue‑styled attacks, adding a playful twist to the food‑fueled combat.
