Summary

Dejiko no Mahjong Party is a quirky Game Boy Color title that slipped onto the Japanese market in 2000, courtesy of King Records. The game never saw an official Western release, which makes it a hidden gem for collectors who hunt down region‑locked handhelds. Its charm lies in the blend of classic mahjong mechanics with the whimsical world of Dejiko, the pink‑haired mascot from the Di Gi Charat franchise. Even though the gameplay basics are familiar, the colorful sprites and playful sound bites give it a distinct personality that feels both nostalgic and oddly fresh. For anyone curious about obscure handheld experiments, this title is a delightful footnote in early‑2000s portable gaming.
