Summary

CyberTiger drops you onto the legendary Spyglass Hill, where you can either swing as Tiger Woods himself or a custom‑created rookie. The career ladder starts on the Junior Tour, pushes you through Amateur events, and finally lands you on the Pro Tour, unlocking extra championship courses as you rack up victories.

What sets the game apart is its real‑time analog swing and the so‑called Tiger Control, letting you add topspin, backspin, fades or draws while the ball is still airborne. Power‑Up Balls add a whimsical twist – superballs bounce off any terrain and eyeballs fly straight no matter the angle – and hidden tricks like SuperDrive can turn a routine shot into a spectacular rescue.

Seven distinct play styles keep the action fresh: classic Strokes, Skins, Match and Tournament modes sit alongside Practice, Driving Range, and the newer Battle and Club Challenge modes. You can even design your own golfer, hunt down secret courses, and discover hidden golfers that pop up when you least expect them.

Saving requires two memory blocks, and while critics gave CyberTiger mixed reviews, the blend of arcade flair and surprisingly deep swing mechanics still makes it a quirky gem for anyone who loves a good golf challenge on a Game Boy Color.
