Play Cardcaptor Sakura: Itsumo Sakura-chan to Issho! Online

Summary

Card Captor Sakura: Itsumo Sakura-chan to Issho! is a curious footnote in the Game Boy Color library, because it never left Japan. The game clings to the magical girl series, offering fans a handheld glimpse of Sakura’s world that western players missed out on. Its exclusive release makes cartridges a rare find for collectors, often surfacing on auction sites with price tags that reflect the scarcity. Even without an official translation, fans have shared screenshots and fan‑made guides, keeping the spirit of the title alive beyond its borders.
If you ever stumble upon a copy, you’ll need a Japanese‑compatible GB‑C or an emulator that can handle the region lock, plus a bit of patience to navigate menus written entirely in kanji. The experience feels like a nostalgic time capsule, preserving the early 2000s aesthetic of both the anime and the handheld era.
