Storyline

In Arle no Bouken: Mahou no Jewel, Arle and her trusty companion Carbuncle arrive at the Hero’s Village just in time for the annual festival. Shortly after they set foot in the town, a shimmering magical barrier appears, and Saturni explains that this barrier is raised each year to protect the celebration.

To learn more, Arle consults the village elder Lunae and the enigmatic Satan, who reveal that long ago a Hero created the barrier and used the power of the stars to seal away a great evil. During her investigation Arle witnesses a Puyo being turned into a card and is warned that any Puyo left in card form after the next day will remain that way forever. Determined, she sets out to collect the Puyo cards and restore them to their true forms before the deadline.
