Storyline

Carnby agrees, and Johnson introduces him to Aline Cedrac, an intelligent young university professor who joins the quest to recover the tablets and to aid Professor Obed Morton, whom she believes to be her father. While flying over Shadow Island, their plane is attacked by an unknown creature; both jump, parachute, and become separated—Edward lands in a dense forest beside a manor, while Aline lands on the manor’s roof.
