Summary

Wagamama Fairy: Mirumo de Pon! Ougon Maracas no Densetsu arrived on the Game Boy Advance in December 2002, marking Konami’s entry into the franchise with the very first video‑game adaptation of the beloved Mirumo de Pon series. The handheld title captures the colorful chaos of the anime, offering fans a chance to juggle the mischievous fairy’s antics directly on the go. Fans sometimes refer to it simply as Mirumo de Pon! Ougon Maracas. Though it never saw a wide U.S. release, the game stands out as a quirky relic of early‑2000s licensed games, packed with the series’ signature humor and off‑beat mini‑games.

Storyline

In Wagamama Fairy: Mirumo de Pon! Ougon Maracas no Densetsu, a village festival is about to take place in Mirumo Village, the heart of the Fairy World. The celebration is jeopardized when the Warumo Gang steals the Legendary Golden Maracas from the Royal Family, leaving Mirumo powerless to perform any magic. Players join Mirumo and his friend Kaede as they travel across the Fairy World in search of the stolen treasure. The quest focuses on retrieving the Golden Maracas from the gang’s hideouts. Restoring the maracas revives the magic and saves the festival for everyone.
