Summary

The Incredibles on Game Boy Advance lets you swing between the movie’s iconic powers—super‑strength, superspeed, invisibility and elasticity—to take on bomb‑toting, laser‑blasting foes across more than 18 action‑packed levels. Each stage puts a different family member in the driver’s seat: Mr. Incredible brawls and flips switches in classic platform fashion, Mrs. Incredible stretches and swings to crush enemies, Violet slips into stealth with her invisibility, and Dash blazes through racing‑style challenges. The game even recycles the film’s voice talent, with Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Fox, Sarah Vowell and Jason Lee reprising their roles, while Michael Giacchino’s score carries the Pixar vibe into handheld form. Despite mixed reviews on Metacritic, the title became a commercial juggernaut—selling a million copies in the U.S. by 2006 and racking up $57 million worldwide, eventually topping six million units globally. Its success paved the way for the sequel, The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer, which added two‑player co‑op with Mr. Incredible and Frozone.

Storyline

The Incredibles (Game Boy Advance) opens with the French mime‑styled villain Bomb Voyage attempting a bank robbery in Metroville. Mr. Incredible, aided by his icy friend Frozone, stops the heist while Elastigirl battles Voyage’s mime minions across the skyline. Buddy Pine’s rocket‑booted arrival triggers a bomb on his cape, which detonates harmlessly after Mr. Incredible grabs it, and Voyage flees in a helicopter.

Fifteen years later superheroes are outlawed, and Mr. Incredible lives as Bob Parr with wife Helen (Elastigirl) and their three children, Violet, Dash and Jack‑Jack. After a near‑fatal fire, a mysterious woman named Mirage recruits Bob to a secret island called Nomanisan, where the Omnidroid Mark 08 threatens the base. He destroys the robot during a volcanic eruption, observed by Mirage’s hidden employer.

Bob returns with a new suit from Edna Mode, battles guards and laser systems, and confronts the upgraded Omnidroid Mark 09. The creator, Syndrome—revealed to be an adult Buddy Pine—captures him, seeking revenge for past mistreatment. Bob escapes the falls, evades a life‑sign scanner, but is later imprisoned while learning of Syndrome’s plan to unleash the Mark 10 on Metroville.

Elastigirl infiltrates the island, hides Violet and Dash in a cave, and together the children activate a robotic cockatoo alarm, forcing them to use their powers. They race across jungle, beach and lake, combine abilities into the Incredi‑ball, and free their father with Mirage’s aid. The family then launches a rocket from Syndrome’s silo to reach Metroville.

In the city the Incredibles and Frozone team up to destroy the Omnidroid, stop Syndrome and save the world. Syndrome is killed off‑screen while attempting to kidnap Jack‑Jack. Finally, CIA agent Rick Dicker clears the family’s superhero status, and the public once again celebrates the Parrs.
