Summary

Super Bust-A-Move (released in Japan as Super Puzzle Bobble Advance) transports the beloved bubble‑shooter of the Puzzle Bobble franchise onto the Game Boy Advance. The core mechanic is unchanged – fire coloured bubbles to match three and clear the screen – but the handheld version adds noticeably larger bubbles that make each shot feel a bit more dramatic. Players can choose from solo, training, computer competition or a head‑to‑head battle, and for the first time a two‑player co‑op stage lets friends team up to solve puzzles together.

Visually the GBA port receives a fresh art style and sharper audio compared with its console ancestors, giving the game a crisp, nostalgic vibe. Critical response was generally positive; reviewers praised the handheld adaptation and the added modes, while Famitsu granted a 24‑out‑of‑40 score in its Japanese review.
