Summary

The Game Boy Advance got a nostalgic boost in 2005 when it shipped a dual‑game pack that bundled Spy Hunter with Super Sprint, letting handheld fans experience two arcade classics in one cartridge. The compilation preserves the original top‑down racing thrills of Super Sprint, where up to three cars zip around static, overhead tracks that never scroll, each lap pushing you toward the next circuit. As you race, oil slicks, tiny tornadoes and bridge drops threaten to spin you out, while scattered wrenches let you trade three for better traction, quicker acceleration, or a higher top speed. Though the arcade version could stretch to a marathon of 85 races before the bonus Super Speedway appears, the GBA version captures that escalating challenge in a portable format. The title also nods to Super Sprint’s long arcade legacy, having resurfaced in Midway Arcade Treasures collections and even a Lego Dimensions level pack, proving the little formula‑one‑style racers still have plenty of spin left.
