Storyline

In the opening cutscene of *SpongeBob and Friends – Attack of the Toybots*, Professor Calamitous appears on the reality show "The Biggest Genius" and boasts that feeding fairies Krabby Patties creates a magical gas. When mixed with ghost energy, this gas becomes fuel for his army of Toybots – evil toy copies of abducted Nicktoons. Meanwhile, SpongeBob and Patrick are tasked with delivering millions of Krabby Patties to a processing plant, only to have a robot vacuum‑suck the entire shipment and trap Patrick like a toy.

After battling through the factory, SpongeBob rescues a vacuum‑packed Patrick and encounters Tak of the Pupununu People, who reveals he was also abducted and scanned. The trio soon joins Timmy Turner, Stimpy, Rocko, GIR, Jenny/XJ‑9 and Jimmy Neutron, all captured by Calamitous. Together they assist ChadBot, the professor’s robot assistant, in gathering "master models" of the Toybots; once enough are collected, ChadBot lets Jimmy contact Danny, who learns the Toybot army has seized his house to harvest Ghost Portal energy.

The heroes converge at Amity Park’s EvilToyCo outlet, don large mech suits, and battle the Saucer Men that Calamitous uses for abductions before heading to Fairy World.
