Summary
Snap Kid's is a clever hybrid that mixes a trading‑card game format with light RPG mechanics, centered around the quirky task of photographing monsters. Instead of battling with traditional combat, players aim their in‑game camera at quirky creatures, capturing snaps that then become collectible cards. Each photo not only adds to your deck but also unlocks abilities, encouraging exploration and a bit of strategy to get the perfect shot. The blend of photography, collecting, and role‑playing makes it a distinctive title in the handheld library.
Storyline
Snap Kid's (sometimes just called Snap) drops you into a world where the Snap System dominates daily life. Players photograph strange creatures known as Wonders, turning each shot into a battle‑ready card. The story follows Shuto, a rookie who is invited by a friend to join the local Snap Club. Eager to prove himself, he enters the Snap Grand Prix, the tournament that crowns the Snap leader.
As the competition heats up, Shuto uncovers a sinister plot by the secretive Magnet organization, whose agents are hunting Wonders for their own ends. Caught between the Grand Prix and the growing conspiracy, he must protect the captured Wonders and expose Magnet’s plans.
