Summary

Simple 2960 Tomodachi Series Vol. 1: The Table Game Collection, often just called The Table Game Collection, bundles a handful of classic tabletop‑style mini‑games onto a single GBA cartridge. Developed by Access and released by D3Publisher in Japan back in 2003, the compilation leans into the “simple” philosophy of the series, offering straightforward controls that let you jump straight into games like digital versions of chess, shogi, and other board‑based pastimes. Each title feels like a portable tabletop session, with bright sprites and clear menus that keep the focus on the play rather than flashy graphics. The package is a neat showcase of how the Game Boy Advance could serve as a pocket‑sized game night, preserving the feel of a real‑world board game while adding the convenience of handheld play.
