Summary

Shrek SuperSlam drops you into a wildly over‑the‑top brawler where everyone from the movies and a few oddball originals duke it out in frantic arenas. The fun comes from cranking up “Slam” meters and unleashing chaotic signature attacks.
The GBA version packs 20 fighters, but only half are available from the start – the rest unlock as you win matches. Alongside the familiar Shrek crew, you’ll find quirky extras like Luna the witch, the Black Knight, Quasimodo and Humpty Dumpty; the GBA even throws in Doris, the ugly stepsister, as an exclusive character.
Each character boasts a distinct “Slam” move: Shrek’s Green Storm catapults foes with flatulent fury, Robin Hood commands a rain of arrows, Pinocchio’s Buzz Bomber makes his nose sprout into a rocket, and Fiona’s Ogre Aria sends musical notes crashing into enemies.
Three multiplayer styles keep the mayhem fresh – Melee rewards points for every Slam, King of the Hill pits you on a constantly contested perch, and Slammageddon counts every hit as a Slam. John Kassir announces the action, and even a giant gingerbread man named Mongo pops up as a moving stage element.

Storyline

In Shrek SuperSlam (often just called SuperSlam), the adventure kicks off when Shrek and his pals try to help Donkey lull his mischievous Dronkeys so they can all settle in to watch "Survivor: Sherwood Forest" at the Dragon’s Keep. Chaos erupts when one Dronkey accidentally shreds the family’s treasured storybook, prompting the gang to take turns spinning their own tales to fill the gap. Their improvised storytelling finally wears the Dronkeys out, and the little creatures drift off to sleep. The calm doesn’t last, though—during the epilogue Shrek loses his cool and shouts at the game’s overly chatty announcer, which jolts the Dronkeys awake. The quirky plot blends classic Shrek humor with a playful meta‑narrative about storytelling itself.
