Storyline

Set in Japan’s Edo period, the Game Boy Advance title Samurai Deeper Kyo follows bounty hunter Yuya Shiina as she hunts down the man who killed her brother. Her quest quickly collides with a wandering medicine peddler named Kyoshiro Mibu, who is in fact sharing his body with the legendary swordsman Demon Eyes Kyo. Kyo’s only desire is to reclaim his own body, a goal that forces Yuya, Kyoshiro and a cast of fellow travelers onto a dangerous road.

Together they find themselves pitted against the powerful Tokugawa shogunate and the secretive Mibu Clan, a hidden race of violent super‑humans that have ruled Japan from the shadows for centuries. The clash of these forces drives the game’s dramatic storyline.
