Summary

Rockman.EXE 4.5 (often called Real Operation) is a Japan‑only spin‑off that turns the Mega Man Battle Network series into a NetNavi simulator. Instead of piloting MegaMan directly, the AI runs the Navis while you "slot‑in" BattleChips and give high‑level commands, a design that was meant to pair with the BattleChip toys and the BattleChip Gate accessory. Those peripherals aren’t mandatory, but without them the chip‑selection and command system becomes noticeably tougher. The title showcases MegaMan.EXE alongside the twelve DoubleSoul Navis from Battle Network 4, plus a handful of extra characters that later appear as playable options in BN5 and BN6. On the PET screen each Navi’s classic stage theme is remixed as background music, giving the simulation a nostalgic yet fresh vibe.
