Summary

Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction drops the arena right onto the Game Boy Advance, letting you step into the metal‑clashing world of the TV show. You can choose from four distinct battlefields – the classic War Zone, a gritty Robot Factory, the industrial Steelworks, and the electrified Power Station – each lifted straight from Series 3 and 4.

The Championship mode strings together seven fights, kicking off with a three‑way melee that mirrors the series’ chaotic start, while a four‑player multiplayer option lets friends duke it out in any of the arenas. A roster of 16 licensed competitors, including fan‑favorites like Chaos 2, Panic Attack, Razer and Tornado, gives you plenty of familiar steel to test against.

What really hooks me is the build‑your‑own robot system: a parts database lets you mix bodies, armour, engines, wheels and weapons to craft a custom combatant, and a quick‑start pick‑up‑and‑play list of pre‑built bots gets you into the action in seconds. Even though Craig Charles is missing, commentator Jonathan Pearce’s voice adds that authentic broadcast feel, though he only chimes in at key moments.
